Dennis Dean Murphy, 61, of Jefferson was listed Aug. 15 on the FBI’s National Crime Information Center data base after his wife Marlene reported she has had no contact from him since Aug. 9.
Jefferson police chief Mark Clouse said no foul play is suspected. There is not an active search for Murphy.
Murphy’s vehicle license plate number and his driver’s license number have been flagged in the NCIC system nationwide. If law enforcement runs either number, the Jefferson police department will be alerted of his location.
